Description
Spending the night in the dark interior of Jerusalem’s ancient Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Peter Adams produced five paintings with a light attached to his head. Inside the Church are more than thirty chapels and worship spaces, such as the one depicted here, representing the Crucifixion. This particular chapel is reputed to be the actual site of Golgotha.
