Artist Statement
"Rich warm and cool hues could be seen in the shadow side of the cliff walls resulting from a strong reflected light coming from the sunlit side of the canyon. Once the sun tracks farther over to the west those subtle contrasts disappear. The sheer force of the water coming over the falls even from this distance is impressive."
