Acquired by American Legacy Fine Arts from a Private Collector from Reno, Nevada who acquired the painting in 1999 from a Las Vegas Art Auction who acquired the work directly from the Artist.
Artist's Statement
“This painting was done in New Hope, Pennsylvania. It's a small stream not far from the banks of the Delaware River. I forgot the name of the gentleman who ran the art auction, but I do remember that he was a friend of artist Richard Schmid's. The painting was put in the Las Vegas auction because the guy that ran it asked me to. I always thought this was a really good one, done from life.”
