Description The focus of this minimalist painting is a mid-afternoon hot beverage break. A juicy lemon wedge leans alongside the tea cup. An opened tea bag sits on the saucer that is on top a folded linen napkin to catch any drips from the imminent tea kettle. The scene suggesting someone preparing to enjoy a relaxing hot cup of tea. LeGassick’s use of light and shading capture the time of day in which one would enjoy a cup of tea.
