Description
Painted en plein air at Batiquitos Lagoon, Carlsbad, California. The artist's appeal to this location has inspired his oeuvre since the beginning of his career. The forest of eucalyptus trees in the area avails Adams with the opportunity to project sinuous design and intriguing negative shapes within the billowy foliage.
