"Painted from plein air notes of New York's Central Park and completed in studio. My January visit was during a classic NYC snowstorm which wrapped the park in a frosty mist. Such was the density of the midafternoon snowfall that the pathway lights flickered on. Park visitors revealed in the wintery display."
