Alexey Steele

Evening Roses in Los Angeles

  • 12" x 16", artwork
  • Contemporary

Description
Alexey Steele’s sensitive hues and color palette are what transcend this work from the canvas to create a vivid and life-like atmosphere of an early evening in southern California. The soft petals of the rose glisten in the light as the sky changes into twilight. The air is buzzing with light, creating a scene so soft that the petals appear to be even more fragile than they are. Alexey Steele’s intention is to capture the essence of a moment and create a lasting impression of a scene that only existed for a second.
