Artist Statement
"Living steps away from the Ojai Meadow preserve, I am constantly reminded of how many variations can be seen from the same vantage point. Seasons, time of day, weather conditions and my own emotions and mood play their parts in what I see. “Meadow Gaze” was inspired by the lacework of light streaming in through the branches and leaves of the old growth Eucalyptus trees on a late afternoon in January."
