Artist Statement
"While on a recent painting trip along the 101 Highway to Carmel I stopped twice to paint at one of my favorite spots, Rocky Point. I particularly love the perspective of looking down at the massive surf crashing on the jagged rocks below. In the late afternoon, I was mesmerized by the blinding reflections of the sun playing on the ocean's surface and creating intriguing patterns of glistening light."
