"Sierras. The Morningbringers— My sons coming forward with the alpenglow, riding with the light, bringing it toward us. They look to their sides, scanning the breadth of the land. The dog runs straight at us, the light's emissary, unaware of its role, just living, just coming.
Mood: Emergent hope. The peaks blazing coral and magenta, the light progressing into the valley. The future arriving not as idea but as fact—riders bringing the morning with them."
