Artist Statement
“Less than a mile from our house is this great stand of white peppermint eucalyptus trees that frame the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains. On certain days the San Gabriels light - up with the sun’s setting rays that created a magnificent array of color juxtaposing vivid yellows, oranges, and reds against the shadows of violets and blues. It is this harmony of color which I believe creates a warmth and highlights the true beauty of these exotic trees.”
