Artist Statement
"In this painting, a fleeting moment is suspended within an architectural niche, where birds and fruit coexist in quiet tension. The natural world is framed and contained by human-made space. The fractured pomegranate reveals its luminous interior, offering a glimpse beneath the surface of appearances.
I am interested in the mystery of perception – how experience is shaped by memory, expectation, and conditioning. Through meticulous technique and controlled light, I seek to heighten awareness of this fragile boundary.
Ultimately, my work is about presence: the moment when beauty is recognized, when time seems to pause, and when perception becomes a form of contemplation."
