"Taming Dragon Lohan reflects my ongoing fascination with ancient Eastern cultures. I approached the composition intuitively, allowing the figures to emerge through suggestion rather than definition, inviting an emotional rather than narrative response. The Blanc de Chine form serves as a point of calm amid the surrounding movement of vibrant color. Through bold, saturated hues, I sought to evoke a sense of mystery and elegance. Drawing upon objects from my personal collection and carefully orchestrated lighting, this painting reflects an inner journey shaped by a fascination with the exotic—echoing a distant world of quiet reverence, ritual, and timeless beauty."
