On consignment with American Legacy Fine Arts from a private collector in Southern California who acquired the painting directly from the artist.
Artist Statement
“Tide Poolsat Flat Rock is a plein air painting completed under the inspiration of preparing to leave for France, Italy, and Spain to study the Impressionists and Claude Monet’s painting of Belle Isle. The trip itself was for three months and played a major influence in my life to come. This sketch is of one of two completed that day. Keeping the values high key and temperature shifts in the shadows, was a personal accomplishment at this stage of my painting life.”
